I'm heading up to Manchester to see this exhibition of painting by Ronald William Webb at the Royal Exchange Theatre. "Painted specifically for this exhibtion, Webb found his inspiration in the story of The Pianist and the piano music of Chopin. Webb limits himself to three colours: red, black and white. He chose these because they are the colours of the Polish and Nazi flags, piano keys, soil and blood."

Interesting post from Daniel, and kudos for being willing to discuss it. I was interested in this paragraph: "Writing a blog is a form of publishing. There is no distinction, really, between a blog and, say, a published volume of diaries". Now there's something you don't hear a journalist say every day ;-)
