Whilst I slightly want to file all these types of article in a folder called "Why didn't railway companies invent cars?" it is good to see Comment Is free repeatedly mentioned as being the right response from a news organisation to the 'threat' of a more participatory commentariat.

Opinion in the comments seems to be divided as to whether the PCC really gets SEO, but this does seem to be the most notice they've ever paid to technical web issues.
