Worth noting that Benedict Brogan links back to his previous blogpost that was very dismissive of the Wikileaks material, and admits he has changed his position. Commendable and rare honesty from a media outlet where the norm is to criticise any kind of u-turn - and featuring an appropriate inline hyperlink as well...

"January saw Young Women Working In Media team up with the London branch of The Radio Academy for an evening centered around the difficulties and rewards of being a media mum". Good round up of the event, including the idea that being a 'normal' mum who also works is 'normal', and helps you connect with your audience

Tonight I'll be at a newcomer on the London IA/UX scene - "Lightning UX". It also sold out really quickly, and with a line-up featuring Boon Chew, Alex Horstmann, Cennydd Bowles, Ian Fenn, Jonathan Kahn, Tyler Tate, Rob Varney, Harry Brignull, Rory Hamilton and Lucy Spence it is no surprise. Really looking forward to it.
