On a similarly related note, a Twitter stream coming out of a class of 6 and 7 years old in the UK. You have to jump some hoops to follow it, but it is very sweet. Typical tweets: "we have been lerning abot coins" and "we like macing things".

Nothing would attract me more to visit New York than the idea of advertisers staging a fake New Year's Eve every single night. I hope it catches on in London. Wouldn't it be absolutely awesome to have Guy Fawkes' Night *every* night, with the fireworks splashing advertising messages across the night sky?
