"Although the Europa League play-off tie was originally scheduled to take place at AEK's Olympic Stadium, the tie was moved on Tuesday after UEFA officials deemed the pitch unplayable. The game was then switched to the Nea Smyrni stadium, which has a capacity of just 11,700. However Panionis fans, angry at their rivals using their home ground, vandalised the pitch last night in a bid to scupper the game."
