"This time round authorities are citing the 'impact on creative talent' that piracy causes. In other words, the ubiquity of untreated bilge like High School Musical hogging the movie charts is a direct consequence of you buying that dubbed version of Shanghai Surprise off a fellow in Seven Sisters the other month."

Includes a visit to my old drinking hole on Berwick Street when I worked in Reckless. They gave me a leaving card, that's how much time I spent in there...

I was going to bookmark the by-election results from Waltham Forest last night, but it is posted on the web as a Word document. e-Government at its very best. Lib Dems held off advancing national tide of Conservative party to narrowly retain both seats available btw.

"He lists the fact that people would have pay £5 per day or £1200 to drive to work, ignoring the fact that lots of people already use public transport to get to work in Manchester and so would not be effected. He actually lists both the daily and annual charge as two separate 'reasons' and so that is in fact one 'reason', not two. "I felt like saying, 'Listen, dingbats, viewers are not idiotic'. When I say on TV, 'This cake takes 20 minutes to bake' and then one minute later it's ready, what do they think I have done? Do they think I have some kind of Time Lord qualities?". If only people stood up and said 'Listen, dingbats' more often in public discourse the world would surely be a better place. [Tagged as Doctor Who to prove to Karen Loasby that no reference to the series can be too small for me]

"Weezer have recorded six Christmas songs especially for an iPhone game, set to go on sale in the coming days. ‘Christmas With Weezer’ is built on ‘Tap Tap Revenge’, the game for iPhone and iPod touch, in which users tap and shake their devices to the tunes of the music."
