I'm beginning to not *get* politics in this country. As I understand this story, everything I have ever written as a possible option in my "to do list", then not acted upon, has become a "secret plan". Don't we want our politicians and civil servants to actually consider a range of options before they make decisions? When did it become a sign of weakness to look at alternatives?
