"What side of the fence do you sit on? Should mainstream media sites provide searchable links or - from large sites - any link is a good link?". Suggests that The Sun actually 'nofollow' their links.

SEO humour in cartoon form. With search engine robots personified as actual robots. Cannot fail.

"I suspect that local factors counted for more than Brown's handling of the banking crisis". No offence to Andrew Sparrow who was live blogging the election, but isn't this always the way with the press - if the Government (of any hue) do badly in a byelection it is seen as a vote of 'no confidence' in national politics and specifically in the PM. If, on the other hand, they do OK, it is seen as a result of local issues.

"He was there because it was 'where the party is'. And, he admits, he can’t get enough of the women. He’s clearly doing a great job of attracting said women while he sits on a bench in the dead of night writing away on his laptop". Hmm, come to think of it, the guy-with-laptop shtick didn't work for me in Miami either...

Ooh, useful. Hat-tip to Nic Price.
