Swurl sounded worth a try, until Phil comes across some problems and is then unable to delete his account. There was a lot of talk at EuroIA about there being very few design patterns for social media privacy interactions.

"Up until now I've used Bloglines when I've been teaching RSS and encouraged people to use their service, but I'm seriously thinking of calling time on it completely". I gave up when I saw the beta. My switch to Google Reader hasn't been painless however - at least Bloglines *used* to work over dial-up
