"This country is full of idiots. Being in that bed will not automatically make your daughter sexually precocious". Only sensible comment so far. I can't work out what's funniest - the original naming, the tabloid outrage or the ignorance of Woolworths
-
"Google says it doesn't let third parties such as AOL alter the search results Google syndicates. If that's the case, why does this result differ to this result?". Easily dismissed in comments as a not apples-to-apples comparison. I remember those days.

"The most recent Googlebomb is related to Scientology and it is a two pronged bombing. They are linking the anchor text 'Dangerous Cult' to scientology.org and they are linking the anchor text 'Scientology' to anti-scientology site xenu.net".

I have to call prior art on this one. A year and a day earlier I posted about how Digg had jumped the shark for me by putting 'England to put up X-ray cameras on Lamposts that can see you NUDE!!!' on the front page, based on some nonsense in The Sun

"The book tells of a pig and a hedgehog who set out to look for God. They meet a rabbi, bishop and a mufti who are portrayed as insane, violent, and continually at each other's throats". Translation probably won't reach Britain because of the pig ;-)

[via beatnic] "With a web site it's so tempting to get caught up in the technologies of social networking, tagging, blogs, podcasts and wikis that it's easy to lose sight of the fact that you have no customers, or don't know who your customers are".
...And not a Microsoft/Yahoo! link in sight!
