Can't help thinking that plenty of bloggers have mounted 18 month one-man stalking and reputation destroying campaigns, but only a couple of political bloggers in the UK have the attention of the mainstream media. That is what made the difference here.

We had Gavdos in sight when we were on the south coast last year, but never made it across. It sounds like one of the most delightfully isolated communities in Europe.
